First: BEARBERRY, LICORCE, BLACKBERRY EXTRACT: All these known botanicals have a natural bleaching action. Second: WILD THYME AND LUPIN EXTRACT:(Gatuline Lifting)A combination of plant ingredients specifically developed to firm, tone and increase elasticity of the skin. It is a vegetable source Wild Thyme and Lupin Extracts that immediately smooth the cutaneous outer surface. The protein fractions provide the immediate tightening, and the flavoids and tannins provide the long lasting effect. Most of the protein fraction is extracted from leguminous plant seeds( Lupinus albus) which contain reserce proteins. These high molecular weight proteins have excellent tightening and film forming properties. They generate a continuous elastic film which smoothes the surface of the skin. Some flavonoids increase proline and lysine hydroxylation which plays a part on the transformation of procollagen to collagen. This has an influence on the skin core matrix organization, which, together with the flavonoid's anti-elastic properties, will help to restructure the supporting tissues. The Result is better skin elasticity and firmness! Complexes are formed between tannins and certain macromolecules, such as proteins containing proline. They have astringency properties, which reduce the size of the pores of the skin and smooth surface lines, making the skin brighter and the complexion more uniform. Gatuline Lifting has an immediate tightening effect. This has been substantiated by means of a scanning electron microscope and quantified using confocal microscopy. It has been proven non-toxic, non-irritating and non-sensitizing.
